Cables compliant with EU Regulation No. 305/2011 (CPR) are designed to ensure fire safety in permanent installations in civil and public buildings:

Certified fire reaction classification: Each CPR cable is tested in accordance with EN 50575, with documented performance relating to flammability, smoke emission, flame propagation and acid gas emission.
Low smoke and toxic gas emissions: The LSZH materials used reduce risks to people in the event of a fire, an essential requirement in high-occupancy environments.
Mandatory CE marking: Since 2016, all cables intended for permanent installation in buildings must be declared CPR-compliant and bear the CE marking and a Declaration of Performance (DoP).
