Heat-resistant cables

Salcavi heat-resistant cables are designed for critical applications where high temperatures are a determining factor. Manufactured using fluorocarbon resins (ETFE, FEP, MFA, PFA), they are available in single-core and multicore versions with conductor temperature ratings up to 260°C. Some models have IMQ, VDE, UL and CSA certifications. For the automotive sector, Class T2 (105°C) and T3 (125°C) PVC cables, class T4 (150°C) ETFE cables, and SI-TECHPRENE and EPR cables rated up to 150°C are available.

Salcavi heat-resistant cables cover the full range of industrial thermal requirements, from 105°C for standard automotive applications up to 260°C for fluoropolymer-based constructions in extreme conditions:

  • Fluorocarbon resins for temperatures up to 260°C: ETFE, FEP, MFA and PFA guarantee dimensional stability and chemical inertness in extreme thermal conditions where conventional thermoplastics fail.
  • Certified automotive classes: T2 (105°C), T3 (125°C) in PVC and T4 (150°C) in ETFE, compliant with ISO and SAE Standards, cover the full thermal range required by major automotive OEMs.
  • High-performance cross-linked rubber compounds: SI-TECHPRENE and EPR up to 150°C with excellent flexibility, for applications requiring heat resistance and the need for movement


Production of heat-resistant cables

Salcavi heat-resistant cables are manufactured at Salcavi Industrie, for PVC and rubber constructions, and at Salcavi Technic for fluoropolymer processing. The SI Lab laboratory verifies the thermal stability of the materials through DSC analysis and long-term performance testing, with specific tests for the automotive classes required by OEMs.
