Salcavi IMQ-HAR halogen-free cables are designed for environments where fire safety is a technical and regulatory requirement, combining European harmonised certification with documented halogen-free composition:

• A range of materials for every requirement: LS0H thermoplastic compounds for standard applications, cross-linked rubbers for high-temperature and outdoor use up to 90°C, halogen-free polyurethane for heavy-duty applications, the range covers the main operating conditions within a single certified product family.
• CPR compliance and zero toxic gas emission: Thermoplastic versions include models certified to CPR classes B2ca, Cca-s1a,d1,a1, Dca-s2,d2,a1 and Eca. In the event of fire, they release no corrosive or toxic gases, an essential requirement in high-density public environments.
• Versions for extreme conditions: The elastomeric rubber models (H07RN-F MASTER-GRADE) are suitable for water immersion and use at very low temperatures; the ABYSS 100 version is certified for permanent immersion in seawater down to 100 metres. LLOYD’S registered versions are available for on-board wiring on ships and vessels.

Salcavi’s halogen-free cable production is supported by the in-house SI Lab, where raw materials are verified by infrared (IR) chemical analysis to certify the effective absence of halogens. The laboratory also monitors combustion parameters to the relevant IEC/EN standards, ensuring compliance with CPR classifications where required. Collaboration with Salcavi Technic enables the development of custom versions to customer specification.
